Job Opening: Traffic Manager
3000K, Inc., a leading web development agency in Worcester, MA, is seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time position.
We’re growing again and need a new traffic manager to help us manage that growth, deliver projects on time and on budget, and keep our clients happy. Because we’re a growing company we all wear many hats and we’ll expect you to do the same. That may mean answering phones, assisting in sales, doing some coding or writing or envelope stuffing or research, depending on your skills and talents. But the bread and butter of the position is interfacing with clients, delivering outstanding projects, and keeping the 3000K ship sailing smoothly.

The Traffic Manager works closely with the President and Vice President (who also manage projects) to plan projects, assign work, communicate with clients, and oversee creative and programming staff. This position serves as a member of core project teams that include designers, HTML developers, programmers, and site producers.
We need this person on site, full time. We will not consider telecommuters, contractors, or outsourcers for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects for clients to specification, on time and on budget, while keeping both clients and staff happy (no sweat, right?).
- Maintain a high volume of work under tight deadlines.
- Oversee development staff, help solve problems, and ensure work is being done to specification and on schedule.
- Handle a wide range of projects and duties.
- Resolve problems in a timely and diplomatic fashion, with a focus on customer service and meeting the needs of clients.
- Interact daily with staff and work collaboratively on projects.
Requirements:
- Amazing interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to help simplify and conceptualize site plans into a working, easily navigable, highly usable end product.
- Terrific organizational and planning abilities.
- Ability to handle many projects and accounts simultaneously.
- Strong, self-motivated desire to develop professionally as a creative services professional and grow with the company.
- Knowledge and familiarity with web concepts, practices, and procedures, the more the better - but if you know the basics of managing projects, you’ll pick the rest up as you go.
- Working knowledge of Mac OS X, UNIX/Linux, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat a plus.
